Oct 2009 – Singapore-Hungary Friendship Association

Alfred Lye made a return trip to Budapest in September 2009 to further cement warm ties and since initiated a Singapore-Hungary Friendship Association to develop social, educational and economic co-operation between qualified individuals, interest groups and growing businesses.

May 2009 – Executive Secretaries and Personal Assistants Summit

Alfred Lye has been invited to speak at the Executive Secretaries and Personal Assistants Summit held at the Royal Plaza on Scotts, Singapore. Organized by The Asia Business Forum, more details can be found on their official website at www.abf-asia.com 2009.

Oct 2008 – PMC Certification Scheme

Alfred is now a certified Practicing Management Consultant (PMC).

Feb 2008 – Singapore Perspectives 2008

Alfred attends Singapore Perspectives 2008, a conference held annually which is my yearly event on Economics, social and political in S’pore, regional and Global.

Jan 2007 – Hull Alumni Members and Hull Graduates

Alfred was invited to sail on the Hull and Humber Yacht last week (the other being only the President of the Hull Alumni Singapore). He is presently discussing with Hull University to sponsor a Research Professor either in the field of Environment, Sports or Medicine.

Dec 2007 – Hungary Representation

We will be setting a representation in Hungary soon

Dec 2007 – Support for 2010 Youth Olympics

We will be supporting Singapore’s bid for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Visit singapore2010.sg for more information.

Alfred participated and contributed to the Citizens’ Workgroup for National Symbols 2021.

Alfred contributed and supported a Singapore Together movement through a CITIZENS’ Panel on Work – Life Harmony 2019.

To develop aged care villages that are a Productive part of the wider society and Enrich the lives of the residents while actively and positively engaging the surrounding ..younger community.

Develop an urban garden living space for the aging that:

  • Utilizes modern medical and monitoring technologies
  • Enriches the lives of the residents by creating a sense of contribution and self value
  • Integrates and includes the surrounding community
  • Employs environmentally acceptable practices• Is fiscally responsible and sustainable

Nov 2011 – Kenya & Tanzania Africa Business mission 

SDC was invited to participate in the Kenya & Tanzania Africa Business mission organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Singapore Business Federation.

Nov 09 – APEC CEO SUMMIT 2009

Alfred will be attending the “by invitation only” APEC CEO SUMMIT in Singapore between the 12th – 14th Nov 09 at the Suntec Convention Centre. It is a meeting of Heads of State, business figures.
